Additions to NAA Database

Original details from Memento, June 1998
The June 1998 edition of Memento - News from the National Archive included a list of "records in train" - series that had recently been added to the National Archives of Australia database. The list is included below with links to relevant series and agency descriptions in the NAA's online database. The online version draws its data from RINSE, a database containing details of Commonwealth organisations, agencies, functions and series. Some of the descriptions were not available in the online version at the time of preparation.
For those of you totally confused by all this talk of databases, agencies, functions and series - don't worry! We are currently planning a series of articles for Primary Source that will help you find your way around the NAA's mammoth holdings.
